Western Los Angeles County Council’s 2008 Popcorn Campaign

 Dear Unit Leader,                                                                                                        April 21, 2008

 

Western Los Angeles County Council is committed to supporting you and your unit through a comprehensive popcorn campaign in 2008. Our focus is on serving our unit leaders by providing One Fundraiser which would fund your entire year of Scouting.  And that means POPCORN!  By using Trail’s End as a single fundraiser, you will be able to provide a well planned, fully budgeted, complete year of fun and excitement for your Scouts.

 

It all starts with the Trails End Popcorn Training!

 

Attendance to our popcorn training is one of the qualifying factors which will ensure your unit will become a Top Popper and earn any extra 2% in commission.

Top Popper - to earn an extra 2% in commission for a total of 36%:

·       Attend Council Training May 20th or June 17th, or a district training see below schedule

·       Place all popcorn orders on line through Trails-end.com

·       Place your Scouts prize orders on line through Trails-end.com

·       Return any unopened cases of Show-n-Sell product on time

·       Close out your account with the council on time

 

This year you won’t want to miss this training as we will have NEW and EXCITING information including:

 

*Kick-off Kits will give you everything you need to ensure your unit will have the materials they need to have a meaningful, FUN kick-off.  The ONLY way to obtain a kit is to attend a council training.  Note: only one kit will be provided per unit.

A Trail’s End sales representative will inspire you with new ways to sell, how to plan the sale, the “show and deliver” sales concept and much more. In order to accommodate all of our volunteers we are providing two Council trainings at two separate locations:

Tuesday, May 20th 7pm: Courtyard Marriott

15433 Ventura Boulevard,  

Sherman Oaks at the 405 & 101.

And…

Tuesday, June 17th 7pm :  The Sanctuary Church  26444 Friendly Valley Parkway,

Santa Clarita, CA 91321

If you are unable to attend Council Training, please attend one of the scheduled District trainings.

However, we recommend you attend one or our Council Training’s as the Trail’s End representative will not be at the district trainings.
